The prolonged economic crisis that striked our country,
Indonesia, has becoming an overwhelming burden toward many
families, at most, the unfortunate ones. Subsequently, many of
them couldn't afford to finance their children's education. We all
realize that these children are the future or our beloved nation.
Will we close our eyes and make them intellectually handicapped?
Will we hold up their dreams to contribute their capability, intellectuality, and
competency to the development of our nation?
As the member of the great family of Haga Bank, we joined our hearts and hands to support the unfortunate families to continue their children's education.
We called our programme as PAPAPuS : "Children Educational Care Programme"
This Programme has been held since the enrollment year of 1999/2000 and at that time it reached almost 1.000 students from DKI Jakarta, West Java and Central Java. Up to the enrollment year of 2005/2006, the number of students received our educational fund reached 3.930 students in Jakarta, South Sumatera, West Java, Central Java, East Java and Denpasar.
